Cops still chasing Asian men linked to Gao

Police are still looking for two Asian men wanted for questioning over the death of Sydney university student Jamie Gao.

Police believe the men travelled in the same car with Mr Gao to an ill-fated meeting in the southwestern Sydney suburb of Padstow.

The men, described only as Asian, have not been found and police believe they might be overseas.

Mr Gao was last seen alive in Padstow when he allegedly took three kilograms of ice to meet former detectives Roger Rogerson and Glen McNamara on May 20.

It's alleged Mr Gao was later shot twice in the chest in a storage unit nearby.

The 20-year-old's body, wrapped in blue tarpaulin, was found floating in the ocean off Cronulla in Sydney's south six days later.

The discovery came hours after police arrested McNamara, 55, and charged him with Mr Gao's murder.

Rogerson, 73, was charged with murder the next day.
