Cops continue to probe death of Qld couple
Police have been speaking to the neighbours of a woman and man found dead in their Sunshine Coast hinterland home to try to piece together their last movements.
The couple, aged in their 30s and 40s, were found dead in the bedroom of their home in the Glass House Mountains about 12.30pm (AEST) on Saturday.
Police aren't confirming whether the deaths are a murder-suicide, but say there are no other suspects.
The couple's daughter was staying with her grandparents on Friday night.
Family members called police after they were unable to contact the man or woman.
Acting Inspector Darren Edwards said the deaths had shocked locals.
"It's a really nice area down there - middle-aged people with children is the normal make-up of that area," he told ABC radio.
"It's certainly something that's out of the ordinary for that area."
