Two charged after hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of opals stolen in South Australia

Two men have been charged after they allegedly stole hundreds of thousands worth of opals in South Australia.
The opals were allegedly stolen from a business in Coober Pedy last weekend.
South Australia Police allege opals, cash and other jewellery were stolen from a safe.

"Two local men, aged 33 and 22, were arrested and charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, property damage and theft," police said in a statement.
They were refused bail and were due to face the Coober Pedy Magistrates Court today.
