Constable busted for fence offence

An off-duty policeman has been charged after he was allegedly caught urinating on a fence at the intersection of a main road in Sydney's south.

The 28-year-old senior constable was caught answering the call of nature at Woolooware in the early hours of a Saturday night in late March by a fellow officer. He was then arrested and taken to Miranda police station.

"The officer, attached to the Central Metropolitan Region, was issued a future service court attendance notice for the offence of offensive behaviour," police said.

He's due before Sutherland Local Court in June.
