The Commonwealth Bank says it has restored all services after reports of intermittent online banking, EFTPOS and ATM outages this morning.

Angry customers took to Twitter, complaining they'd lost access to some of their accounts, or had experienced problems withdrawing cash from ATMs and using ‘Tap and Go’ services.

User @JadonMintern asked the bank if there was a technical issue early this morning, saying "some of my accounts are not showing in app or netbank".

Others were more upfront about the inconvenience caused including @Guyedmonds.

"So with the $8.7B profit you just reported maybe you could invest a teeny bit in network backups?" he Tweeted.

Commonwealth Bank has since posted an apology via Twitter.

"We’re sorry to our customers who were impacted this morning. We can confirm services are now restored. Thanks for your patience."

But not everyone was unhappy, with @micb456 posting "@CommBank you may be experiencing tech difficulties, but you made my day when I saw my loan & credit card disappear!"
