Coles recalls Mini Classics ice creams after 'metal fragments' found

Coles has recalled two of its own brands of ice cream with a warning that metal fragments may be present and could cause injury.

The recall applies to Coles Mini Classics in both the vanilla and almond ranges.

The products were sold in Coles Supermarkets, Coles Online and Coles Express stores in WA, Queensland, NSW and ACT.

The ice creams affected will have the following best before dates:

• Coles Mini Classics Vanilla 360mL 6 pack, Best Before 16/04/2020 and 17/04/2020
• Coles Mini Classics Almond 360mL 6 pack, Best Before 18/04/2020

No other date ranges are affected.

Customers should return these product to their closest Coles supermarket for a full refund.

The supermarket warned any customers concerned about their health to seek medical advice.
