Closing the Gap report set for release

The latest Closing the Gap report card on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander wellbeing will be released next week.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison is expected to address the report's findings in parliament on February 14.

The last Council of Australian Governments meeting agreed to overhaul Closing the Gap, which sets targets for such things as life expectancy, mortality rates for children, school attendance and job outcomes.
