Clarification - Walter Stragan

Clarification: On 5 May 2022, 9News Melbourne broadcast a report about Mr Walter Stragan's involvement in a matter before the Melbourne Magistrates' Court.

While the body of the report clearly stated that Mr Stragan had not been charged with any offence, the introduction to the report was erroneously accompanied by a graphic referring to charges.

9News Melbourne clarifies that Mr Stragan was not charged with any offence, and any suggestion otherwise was an inadvertent error in the production process.

9News Melbourne unreservedly apologises to Mr Stragan for the error.
