Parts of south east Queensland could expect showers or even a thunderstorm on Christmas Day.
A number of communities including Bundaberg, Injune, Callide, Theodore and Cape Moreton are all forecast with at least 80 per cent chance of rain.
Thunderstorms are also predicted for several places including Rockhampton, Mackay and Toowoomba.
Brisbane has an 80 per cent chance of showers with thunderstorms also forecast for the afternoon.
