Child run over on central Qld driveway

A child has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after being run over on the driveway of a home in central Queensland.
Police said the child was hit by the vehicle on the driveway in the town of Calliope about 6.30pm on Thursday.
It's thought the driver of the vehicle couldn't see child, who was obscured from view on the steep driveway.

The victim was airlifted to the Royal Children's Hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries.
