Twelve-year-old boy charged over Brisbane stabbing attack

A 12-year-old boy has been charged with stabbing a man in the back with a knife in Brisbane's southern suburbs before fleeing.
The 24-year-old man was talking on the phone outside a business on Beaudesert Road in Acacia Ridge at 8.25pm yesterday when he was attacked from behind.
Police allege the 12-year-old boy stabbed the man in the back before fleeing the scene.

The victim, who did not know the boy, was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
A Pallara boy was arrested a short time after the attack.
He has been charged with one count of wounding.
