Fierce fire tears through adjoining Melbourne factories
More than 70 firefighters have spent the night tacking a fire at two adjoining factories in Melbourne's south-east.
Fire crews were called to the blaze on Age Street in Cheltenham just after 12.40am.
External walls collapsed and windows exploded during the fierce fire, which crews were forced to attack from above.

"The heat was quite significant, and that enabled our firefighters to determine it was definitely not safe to go into the building," Trudy Walker from Fire Rescue Victoria said.
Firefighters stopped the fire from spreading further and brought it under control just after 3.50am.
Residents in Bentleigh East, Cheltenham, Clarinda, Heatherton, Highett, Moorabbin, Moorabbin East and Oakleigh South were warned smoke will be visible from nearby roads and homes.
That warning has since been lifted.
The blaze was too intense to be tackled internally. 9News
The Environmental Protection Authority has been notified.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
There were also two other blazes in the Cheltenham area overnight.
Police are looking into seeing if they are linked.
