Crime scene established after body found in unit fire in Melbourne

A crime scene has been established after a woman was killed after a unit caught fire in Melbourne's south-east.
Emergency services were called to the unit on Warrigal Road in Cheltenham about 4.30am after reports of a fire.
Fire crews took 30 minutes to bring the blaze under control, before the body of a 70-year-old woman was found in the kitchen.

A Fire Rescue Victoria spokesperson said neighbouring properties were not damaged, and the cause of the fire was yet to be determined.
