Chainsaw-wielding man arrested in NSW

A man who allegedly stood outside another person's home wielding a revving chainsaw has been charged with intimidation.
Police say on Friday afternoon a 31-year-old man went to a house on Williams Street at Candelo, on the NSW south coast, and threatened a man inside.
He returned a short time later and stood outside allegedly revving a chainsaw.

Police went to the home but the man fled before they arrived.
Police say a chainsaw was found at a house nearby.
The 31-year-old was charged with multiple offences, including intimidation and custody of a knife in public.
He was refused bail to appear before Batemans Bay Local Court on Saturday.
