Man caught on CCTV head-butting Gold Coast security guard

A man has been fined after head-butting a security guard on the Gold Coast.
Raymond Reeves was caught on camera making a beeline for the guard, who was knocked to the ground with a broken nose.
The court heard Reeves had been drinking at the Runaway Bay Junior Leagues Club on the afternoon of May 6.

The altercation started when his son was refused entry because he was wearing inappropriate shoes.
Today the court heard Reeves had a blood alcohol reading of .204.
His lawyer insisted the conduct was "out of character" and Reeves "wasn't known to be violent".
He has been ordered to pay the security guard $1000 and is on probation for 18 months.
