CCTV of Rose-Marie Sheehy released as police struggle to solve Adelaide basement murder mystery

CCTV images from the last days of Rose-Marie Sheehy's life have been released as police seek to determine why a body believed to be hers was found in a storage space in an Adelaide carpark.

Mystery surrounds the fate of Ms Sheehy, who moved to South Australia from the Northern Territory earlier this year.

Human remains found in a store room in an underground carpark in Unley on May 28 are believed to be hers, though formal identification has not yet taken place.

The body had been decomposing and could have been left in the room for up to two weeks.

It has been reported the body had suffered significant trauma.

The room had been used as a sleeping space for a number of homeless people and a purse belonging to a woman was found at the scene.

Investigators are still trying to piece together the victim's last days.

Police said the CCTV images of Ms Sheehy were captured in a Pulteney Street gaming venue, Jackpots on Pulteney.

Ms Sheehy was in the venue on 9.15pm on April 8.

Police investigating the murder said there was no history of recorded domestic violence incidents relating to Ms Sheehy, leaving the motivation surrounding her suspected murder a mystery.
