Guard rushed to hospital after alleged attack at Adelaide youth prison
A guard at a youth prison in Adelaide has been rushed to hospital following an alleged attack.
Police are investigating the incident at Adelaide Youth Training Centre at Cavan.
9News understands a teenager allegedly lashed out at a number of guards at the prison this afternoon, with one hit in the face multiple times and rushed to hospital.

He's 18 and authorities are looking at whether he should be moved to an adult prison.
The alleged attack follows a number of incidents at the centre over the past few weeks.
Earlier this month a unit was sent into lockdown when an inmate stole the keys from a staff member.
Officers were called in to control that situation but the incidents are prompting questions about the safety of staff.
