Caucus rejects Turnbull workplace bills

The Labor caucus has formally opposed three industrial relations bills which will come to parliament this week.

The bills to restore the building industry watchdog and set up a new anti-corruption body will be opposed outright in both houses.

But it will refer a third bill - protecting emergency services volunteers under Fair Work laws - to a Senate committee for an inquiry.
