Castle Hill man charged with displaying Nazi swastika on his chest outside war memorial
A man has been charged with drawing a Nazi swastika on his chest and displaying it outside a war memorial in Sydney's northwest yesterday.
The 31-year-old was arrested by police at the memorial on Wrights Road, Castle Hill at about 7pm on Monday, February 24 and taken to Castle Hill Police Station.
He has been charged with the offence of knowingly displaying, by public act and without reasonable excuse, a Nazi symbol.

The man was granted conditional bail and will appear before Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday, March 19.
The incident follows a slew of others in Sydney and Melbourne since last year involving the public display swastikas, and inciting the Nazi party.
