Girl, 11, missing for five days in New South Wales Hunter region

Police are pleading for the public’s help as they search for a missing 11-year-old girl from Newcastle, two hours north of Sydney.

Carly Gibson was last seen at a house in Joslin street Kotara about 8pm on Saturday December 29.

Police were notified when she failed to return home.

Officers hold concerns for her welfare due to her age and believe she may be in the Newcastle, Edgeworth or Lake Macquarie areas.

Carly is Caucasian, between 145cm-150cm tall, of a medium build with blond hair and blue-grey eyes.
