Car smashes into Melbourne unit block

A drunken driver has crashed a car into a block of units after a police chase through Melbourne.
Police say they tried to intercept a car driving erratically on Chapel Street at Windsor early on Monday morning.
The car was pursued for about 15 seconds before the driver sped up.

Minutes later, the car was found crashed into units on the corner of Punt Road and High Street.
No one was injured in the crash.
A 19-year-old Hallam man was arrested at the scene and recorded a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.117, police said.
His licence was suspended and he will be charged with evading police, reckless conduct and dangerous driving.
