Man miraculously survives 30 metre plunge in car that just missed walker
A car that plunged 30 metres from a cliff south of Sydney only just missed a person walking on the rocks below.
The 30-year-old driver is lucky to be alive, only suffering head and face injuries when his car accidentally rolled off a cliff at Hanging Rock Lookout just after 7am today.
Paramedics said the falling vehicle only just missed a walker who was making their way along Ben's Walk trail.

The driver was airlifted to hospital in a stable condition.
"It's miraculous, even though the car plunged about 30 metres, that the patient was able to walk out of the scene," NSW Ambulance spokesperson Inspector Christopher Lahene said.
"If I were him or the person out for a walk, I'd be getting a lotto ticket because surviving something like this is quite extraordinary."
