Car crash-lands on top of vehicle in Perth

A car has crashed into the garage of a house in Perth's northern suburbs after becoming airborne and rolling across the top of a vehicle parked in the driveway.

The incident occurred in Banksia Grove about 5pm (WST) on Sunday.

Police are looking for two men who fled from the car, after it veered out of control and ploughed through the front garden of the house before smashing into the garage.

It's the latest in a string of similar incidents in Perth in recent days.

On Friday, a 19-year-old man died after crashing his car through a brick wall into the backyard of a house in Thornlie in the city's southeast.

The car burst into flames.

Police believe the driver was racing another car before the crash.

The next day a 20-year-old man was charged with dangerous driving occasioning death, no authority to drive and driving an unlicensed vehicle over the crash.

He was released on bail and will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on July 4.

On Tuesday, a car crash-landed on top of another vehicle parked in the front garden of a home in the northern suburb of Craigie.

The homeowner said it was the third car to smash into his property.
