Car crash causing heavy delays along Princes Highway in Sydney’s south

A car accident on the Princes Highway in Sydney’s south is causing massive delays for early morning commuters.

The car collided with a power pole and flipped onto its back on the Princes Highway in Rockdale, near the Rockdale Plaza Drive intersection, earlier this morning. 

The vehicle was blocking one of three citybound lanes but has now been removed by emergency services.

However, traffic in the area remains heavy.

Motorists are urged to either delay citybound travel via this location or allow plenty of additional travel time.

Buses travelling toward the city are experiencing delays of up to 15 minutes.
