Capsicum spray used to break up brawl in Carlton

Police used capsicum spray to break up a brawl involving up to 15 people in Carlton, Melbourne, this morning.

Officers were called to reports of the fight at a Queensberry Street pub about 4.30am, with revellers reporting the fight started after someone threw a drink at a wall. 

Police said they deployed the spray after one of the men became aggressive.

Paramedics treated a teenage boy for exposure to the spray.

No one else was injured.

Police are investigating the brawl, and arrested two men at the scene.

No charges have yet been laid.
