Cannabis plants found in burnt Sydney home

Police say they have found cannabis plants in the room of a house that caught fire in Sydney's west.

Firefighters were called to the burning house at Liverpool at about 6.20pm on Saturday and extinguished the fire.

Police established a crime scene after allegedly finding a room containing cannabis plants, but the cause of the fire is not believed to be suspicious.
