Little girls around the world will be bugging their parents to book them a flight on "the Frozen plane" after a Canadian airline painstakingly decorated one of their aircraft in homage to the hit Disney film.

WestJet Airlines unveiled the eye-catching airplane at a hangar in Toronto on Sunday attended by hundreds of excited children, some of whom appeared to be suitably freezing in the chilly conditions.

After watching a brief presentation featuring the stars of the 2013 Disney film the Frozen themed plane was revealed to the cheers of an excited crowd.

The aircraft's tail features a large image of the film's protagonists Anna and Elsa while the majority of the fuselage is flecked with snowflakes of varying sizes.

Towards the front of plane a prostrate Olaf the snowman lays underneath an umbrella in a beach scene.

A video posted on YouTube by WestJet shows how a team of painters transformed the aircraft using 23 colours and 643 litres of paint.

The plane's interior is also Frozen-themed with three different head rest designs keeping with the film's icy motif.
