Newman refuses questions on anything other than ‘jobs or economy’

Queensland Premier Campbell Newman made it quite clear today he won’t answer questions about anything other than his “strong” plan for the economy and jobs.

Over tea and scones, he was today asked 34 questions and every answer was the same.

“What people want to know is which team has a strong plan which is fully costed fully funded that can deliver jobs and that is the LNP team,” Mr Newman said.

Taking a break from a casual game of Australia Day cricket, opposition leader Annastacia Palaszczuk wasted no time attacking the Premier for his refusal to shed further light on plans to lease state assets or answer questions.

“Obviously Campbell Newman is too afraid or too ashamed to talk about it,” she said.
