Cameras catch Carrie Bickmore doodle prank

TV presenter Carrie Bickmore last night held up a piece of paper live on air having no idea about the rude doodle scribbled on the other side.

But the cameras caught it for viewers of Network Ten's The Project and the live audience didn't miss it either.

Bickmore was reading a viewer's response to an earlier story at the end of last night's show when the image of a crudely-drawn penis popped up.

Viewers were quick to react on social media.

"What have u been doodling?" Kristen Haythorne tweeted.

Former co-host Charlie Pickering later confessed to the prank via Twitter.

Bickmore was left red-faced but saw the funny side.

"OMG! So embarrassed! Was laughing with audience in the break about what @charliepick signed at the end of every show!" she tweeted.
