Business backs $240m cyber strategy

Business believes the federal government's $240 million cyber security strategy will be a world leader.

Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull on Thursday will unveil a plan that includes sharing information between government and business using the existing Australian Cyber Security Centre and new portals in capital cities.

"If we are getting cyber security right that means we will be a trusted place to do business," Business Council of Australia CEO Jennifer Westacott told ABC radio.
