Bushwalker killed by falling tree in Binna Burra, Gold Coast hinterland

A woman has died after she was struck by a falling tree on a walking track at Binna Burra, in the Gold Coast hinterland.

The 35-year-old bushwalker was hit by part of a tree, which fell from a height of about 20 metres, about 10.30am today.

Other bushwalkers tried to treat the woman until paramedics arrived, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
