UPDATE: Bushfire threat downgraded in Western Australia

Bushfire warnings have been downgraded as rain dampens parts of Western Australia.

Properties are no longer under direct threat from the fires, the Department of Fire and Emergency Services says.

But they've called on communities to keep watch as the fires are still active and the weather conditions continually changing.

"(Properties) are no longer under a direct threat but there is still a risk as this is quite an intense incident," a DFES spokesman said.

The Eneabba fire, started by a lightening strike, has been downgraded from an emergency warning to an advice message.

DFES say the fire has slowed because of favourable weather conditions including thunderstorms bringing rain.

The fires around Sovereign Hill, Redfield Park Eastate and Seabird have been downgraded to a watch and act.
