School bus collides with truck on Hume Highway near Locksley in northern Victoria

A school bus has run off the road after being hit by a truck on the Hume Freeway near Locksley in northern Victoria.
The bus, carrying 47 high school students, turned north onto the freeway from Alexandersons Road around 8.30m.
A truck travelling in the left hand lane attempted to move into the right hand lane and allegedly misjudged the maneouver, hitting the rear driver side of the bus.
Both the bus and the truck ran off the road.
Aerial vision shows the bus on the side of the road, and the truck in a nearby paddock while emergency crews tending to a number of children.
A number of children received minor injuries and were transported to local hospitals.
The 51-year-old truck driver is assisting police.
