Bunnings has announced their iconic sausage sizzle to return in WA only. Instagram
The return of the Bunnings weekend tradition is good news for many WA community organisations struggling to raise money during the pandemic.
The sizzle was put on hold on March 18 as Australia experienced its first wave of COVID-19.
Charity groups have already begun to make bookings with the hardware store to hold sausage sizzle fundraisers from next month.
The hardware giant has not yet announced a date for other states to expect the return of the sizzle, with stores across Victoria being closed completely due to the surge in cases.
