Bronwyn Bishop to contest next election

Bronwyn Bishop will recontest her seat of Mackellar at the next federal election.
The former Speaker confirmed her intention to Liberal supporters at a function at her northern beaches home in Sydney on Tuesday night.
According to Fairfax Media, the 73-year-old said she had been "exonerated" over her helicopter expenses scandal, and the fight against terrorism has compelled her to stay in parliament.
