Broke Queensland mum has her faith restored after McDonald’s worker pays for her children’s dinner

A single mother who was struggling to pay for dinner for her two sons has been given a helping hand, after a McDonalds employee fixed up the bill.
Danica Rodwell was in the McDonald’s drive-thru in Chinderah near the Gold Coast when she realised she didn’t have the money to cover her order.
It was a schoolboy worker who came to her rescue - offering to pay for the meal, and insisting she order food as well.
“This beautiful young man instead of asking me to move out of the drive through as I was blocking others he paid for the lot plus got a meal for me”, she wrote in a public Facebook post.
“I'm now sitting here in tears in the carpark because he has restored my faith that there are good people left!
“Pay it forward I will.. what a gorgeous young man.”
