Queensland residents begin sandbagging as Cyclone Marcia nears coastline

As Tropical Cyclone Marcia nears the Queensland coast, residents are being urged to prepare for a weekend of heavy rain and high winds.

Several sites across Brisbane have established sandbag stockpiles for residents to use to fend off the elements.

The site will have sandbags available around the clock.
