Police arrest man who ‘exposed himself’ in same Brisbane street for four years

Police have charged a man wanted since 2015, accused of exposing himself to pedestrians near a bus stop in Brisbane’s inner north.

Locals told 9News the 43-year-old has been spotted on Google Street view but it's taken until now for him to be identified and charged.

Resident Don Stewart claims the man has been hiding in his front garden.

"Well it's the only fence in the street that's a wire fence that people would see through, so I thought that might be why he's picking here," Mr Stewart said.

"I was just amazed that anyone could do such a thing in public view."

The man is facing 27 counts of indecent acts in public and will appear in court next month.
