Beloved kelpie who starred in marriage proposal missing from Brisbane home
A beloved kelpie who played a starring role in a marriage proposal at last year’s Ekka is missing.
Ten-month-old Rosie disappeared from her Upper Brookfield home in Brisbane three weeks ago and her owners are desperate for answers.
“The (verandah) gate must have not been latched properly and when we woke up in the morning she was gone, and we searched, and that's where this nightmare began,” Fiona Bazley Hodges told 9News.

The Hodges family is desperate to find their beloved pet and hope she’s simply been on an epic adventure since they last saw her on March 22.
“We've had people going around the dog parks, walking around the streets, there was a potential sighting at The Gap,” Ms Bazley Hodges said.
Eight months ago, the pup had an engagement ring tied to her collar when Joe Daley proposed to his now fiancé Cherie at the Ekka last year.

The couple hopes Rosie will be returned to her family soon.
“It’s been a great engagement, I think she was a good luck charm,” Mr Daley said. “I hope they get her back”.
Rosie is red and tan and was wearing a pink collar with her name embroidered onto it.
She is desexed and microchipped.
Anyone who sees the pup should take her to a vet or contact Fiona on 0427 278 004.
