CCTV shows violent armed robbery in Brisbane
A staff member has been punched in the face and threatened with a screwdriver during a robbery at a sports club in an affluent Brisbane suburb overnight.
Police are hunting two men they say broke into the Gallopers Sporting Club in Ascot about 9.30pm.
Wearing balaclavas, they entered the club on Lancaster Road and threatened a male staff member with a screwdriver.

One of the men grabbed the staff member and pushed him against a table before punching him in the face.
The other began grabbing cash out of the tills.
Both men fled the scene in front of horrified staff and other patrons, fleeing the scene in a light-coloured Mercedes sedan which was last seen heading north on Nudgee Road.
The staff member was treated for minor injuries.
