A man is dead and two others are in hospital with serious injuries following three separate motorbike crashes. (9NEWS) 

A man is dead and two others are in hospital following three different motorbike crashes in Brisbane last night.

The 40-year-old man died after his motorcycle left the road and crashed into a fence on Nottingham Road in Calamvale just before 7pm.

The rider was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.

A second 37-year-old male rider has been taken to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical condition following another two-vehicle crash in Ashgrove. The motorbike and a car are believed to have collided at an intersection of Bryant Street, police said.

A third male rider, believed to be in his 30s, is also in hospital after he crashed along Sicklefield Road, Enoggera, around 10pm.

The man suffered suspected serious internal injuries and was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
