Part of man's thumb chewed off in Brisbane bar fight

A man has had part of his thumb bitten off in a Brisbane bar fight, police claim.

A 48-year-old allegedly had part of his thumb bitten off during a fight with a 53-year-old in Fortitude Valley in April.

The altercation occurred at Cru Bar in the early hours of April 14.

Both men are continuing to assist police with their inquiries.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the brawl to come forward.
