Brisbane bus driver bungles 30 point turn

A Brisbane bus driver has been left embarrassed after taking 30 points to complete a turn, blocking off an entire street in the process.

The bungled bus ride happened next to the ABC building in South Brisbane, with the driver severely misjudging the length of his dual bendy bus as he tries to turn around.

In time lapse footage shot by a passer-by, the process becomes no less than a 30 point turn with bewildered bystanders at one point even stopping to try and direct the driver so the street can be cleared.

The video was uploaded on Saturday, with the passer-by who filmed it likening the sorry episode to a similar scene in the movie Austin Powers.
