Brisbane bus driver assaulted by drunks

Two intoxicated men have assaulted a Brisbane bus driver as he tried to remove them from his bus.

The driver decided to remove the men due to their conduct about 9pm yesterday at a stop on Klump Road, Mount Gravatt, police said.

The men assaulted the driver before a passenger intervened, and they then fled the scene on foot.

The driver was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
