Brazil to lead next G20 landings

Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff will be among the next tranche of international leaders due to touch down in Brisbane for the G20 summit.

President Rousseff is due to land at a special G20 terminal set up at the Brisbane International Airport on Thursday, while Saudi Arabia's leader representative, Crown Prince Salman, is also due in.

Each leader will be greeted by Premier Campbell Newman before making their way to designated hotels either in Brisbane or on the Gold Coast.

The G20 airport will also accomodate the arrival of Turkey's Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu late on Thursday night.

South African President Jacob Zuma became the first international dignitary to land in Brisbane on Wednesday, before making his way to the Pullman Hotel in the CBD.

The head of the International Monetary Fund Christine Lagarde arrived on Thursday, while Britain's Prime Minister David Cameron is also due in Australia but will attend events in Canberra on Friday before flying to Brisbane with Prime Minister Tony Abbott.

Mr Abbott is attending the East Asia Summit in MYanmar (formerly known as Burma), before returning to Australia on Friday to host Mr Cameron in Canberra.
