Bracket creep tax cut on way: report
AAP
Australians earning more than $80,000 are set to get an income tax reprieve in a move to counter the effect of `bracket creep'.
As well as winding down the budget repair levy on high-income earners, the Turnbull government will also raise the threshold to help workers who move into higher tax brackets as their wages grow.
That will be paid for by further cuts to the public service, The Australian Financial Review reports.
