* 9204 to teenage mothers, 331 of them aged 15 or under

* paternity not acknowledged in 3.3 per cent of births

* 4316 sets of twins, 65 births involving three or more

* fertility rate 1.8 babies per woman, as opposed to the 2.1 babies required to replace herself and her partner.
