Boy dies after being hit by car getting off school bus in NSW

A 10-year-old boy has been hit by a car and killed outside his home in southern New South Wales after getting off a school bus.

The boy was attempting to cross the road after getting off the bus that had stopped outside a property in Cobargo on Monday.

He suffered fatal head injuries.

No charges have been laid.

Police told 9news.com.au they are continuing their investigation and are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
