9News understands after Mrs Pandilovski was killed, her estranged husband Zoran Pandilovski allegedly left the home and drove his car head-on into another vehicle in Mount Cottrell, hospitalising two other people.

Mrs Pandilovski has been remembered as a dedicated mother, a loving daughter and a special needs aide who dedicated her life to supporting children.

She lived in her Mill Park home for 15 years.

Mr Pandilovski, a 45-year-old from Epping, has been arrested and remains in hospital under police guard at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

No charges have yet been laid over Mrs Pandilovski's death.

There were emotional scenes outside the Mill Park house last night, with locals and neighbours taken aback by the incident.
