The body of a man who went missing at a beach in NSW's Riverina region has been found.

Emergency services were called to Moama Beach at 6.30pm (AEDT) on Saturday after concerns were raised for a 27-year-old man last seen swimming under the Echuca-Moama Bridge.

Police launched an extensive land and water search for the man, but failed to locate him.

About 10.10am, the man's body was found downstream from where he was last seen.
